Math 32404: Update to Course Information

About these changes: The following updates to the grading system in the course were discussed on April 19th, and comments were solicited. Receiving no significant negative comments, the changes below will be made to the course grading scheme.
Grades: Grades will be computed from the following weighted average: The Test Grade will be computed as the maximum of three possible weighted averages of the two midterms and the Final Exam (out of a total of 100%):

(The original weighting was 21.4% for each Midterm and 57.1% for the Final Exam, which is a convex combination of the weightings above, so this will non-strictly raise everyone's Test Grade.)

Your final score will be tabulated out of 100% as indicated above. A letter grade will be assigned to you according to the following list: A+ (97-100), A (95-96), A- (90-94), B+ (87-89), B (84-86), B- (80-83), C+ (77-79), C (74-76), C- (70-73), D (60-69), F (0-59).

Dropped grades: The lowest three homework and quiz grades will be dropped. (This results in dropping one more quiz grade than originally planned.)
